The Elegant Flyer wooden sled from Mountain Boy Sledworks is one of the few wooden sleds that they still make right here in the USA. The elegant flyer is handcrafted in Silverton Colorado by wood workers that have a passion for wood and sledding. The Elegant Flyer is made from Curly Maple and Flame Birch woods with black-stained Willow handrails.

This wooden sled is made with the same care and detail as a fine piece of furniture that will beat anything else on the hill.

Mountain Boy Sledworks is an impressive company based out of Silverton, Colorado. Some of their sleds are made right in Silverton, others are manufactured in China by a company that they have tight control over. All of their products are made with non-toxic finishes, and they have them regularly tested to be sure that they are lead-free.
