The royal flyer is handcrafted in Silverton Colorado by wood workers that have a passion for wood and sledding. The Royal Flyer is made from highly figured maple, sanded smooth and hand-rubbed with a lead-free, marine-grade finish. Stainless steel hardware is used throughout, and the powder-coated metal runners have extra-strong "knees" (the bent-metal parts that connect the runners to the sled).
This wooden sled is made with the same care and detail as a fine piece of furniture that will beat anything else on the hill.
